Every wedding gown is unique. While I can’t provide an exact quote without seeing your dress on your body, this guide will help you plan your budget for The Perfect Fit.
Most brides invest $500–$1000 for comprehensive bridal alterations (typically Hem + Bodice + Bustle).
Beaded gowns, lace hems, major restructuring, and custom redesigns may range higher.
Hem (Length) — Achieving the perfect glide
- Slim / Sheath: starts at $200
- A-Line / Flowy: starts at $220
- Ballgown / Multi-Layer: starts at $320 (includes up to 4 layers; additional layers +$30 each)
Bodice — Sculpting the dress to your shape
- Take In / Let Out (Sides): $85–$180
- Reshape Neckline / Shoulders: $65–$150
- Sew-In Cups: $40
- Inner Support Belt: $65 (helps strapless gowns stay secure all night)
- Add Boning (Structure): $60 per pair
Finishing Touches
- Custom Bustle: $25 per point (starting at $75, 3 points minimum)
- Professional Bridal Steaming: included with comprehensive bridal alterations
2. Custom Design & Style Upgrades

- Corset Back Conversion (Lace-Up): $180–$250
- Custom Sleeves: starts at $150
- Custom Overskirt: starts at $350 (transform your silhouette)
- Bridal Capes / Wings: starts at $200

- Add Bodice Lining (Modesty): $95–$150
- Vintage Restoration & Reconstruction: starts at $500
3. Bridal Party & Formal Wear Alterations
I give the same attention to detail to your bridal party as I do to the bride.
- Hem (Floor Length): $60–$90 (chiffon/lining +$20)
- Side Adjustments: $50–$90
- Strap Adjustments: $30–$50
4. Accessories & Care
- Custom Veils: $150–$450 (fingertip to cathedral length)
- Gown Preservation Kit: $320 (Museum-quality cleaning & preservation after the wedding. This is how many brides choose to preserve not just the gown, but the memory.)
- Measurement Service: $30 (professional measurement card)
5. Steaming Services
- Evening & Formal Dress Steaming: $30–$100 depending on fabric, layers, and overall complexity.
- Bridal Gown Steaming: $75–$200 depending on volume, layers, fabric, and detailing. Most gowns average around $120-$150. Professional bridal gown steaming is included when the gown undergoes comprehensive bridal alterations in the studio.
Rush Services: available for timelines under 4 weeks (+25%) or under 2 weeks (+50%)

Each gown is individually designed, drafted, and built by a Master Tailor & Pattern Maker using European couture techniques and hand-finished craftsmanship.
